Proutist Universal trains the Venezuelan Petroleum Company

Caracas, 21 Dec. 2003, Venezuela National Press Agency (Anaís Pérez) – Representatives of the global educational and community service organization Proutist Universal were contracted to give training to the Venezuelan National Petroleum Company (PDVSA). Two groups of supervisors in the departments of planning, cooperatives and telecommunications attended three days of training called “Proutist Economic Development Plan: Building a New Future for Venezuela”.

The training was given by Dr. Michael Towsey, lecturer at the Queensland Institute of Technology in Australia, and by Dada Maheshvarananda, yoga monk from North America and author of the book, “After Capitalism: Prout’s Vision for a New World.” Afterwards they gave open conferences on Prout at the PDVSA offices in Caracas, Maturín, Morichal and Puerto la Cruz.

The topics of the training included “Future Visions”, “Eliminating Poverty”, “People’s Economy”, “Economic Self-reliance”, “The Triple Bottom Line”, “Holistic Human Development”, “Ethics for Personal and Social Transformation”, “Agriculture”, “Balanced Economy”, “Rational Distribution of Resources” and “Ideal Leadership”.
