Proutists Add Economic Democracy Dimension
to Anti-War Demonstrations

(London, PNA) - Proutists manifested the need for progressive socio-economic action when joining in the 100,000 strong peace rally marching in London from Hyde Park to Trafalgar Square on September 27. The proutists carried a beautiful hand-painted banner that said, "Globalise humanity, localise economy" and the Prout triangle symbol with "Cooperatives, self-reliance, spirituality."

Fifteen large colorful signs were also carried with creative slogans like "Economic democracy, not political hegemony", "We have a dream: food, housing, education, jobs and health care for all!", "Rampant materialism is  destroying our world", "There's no chance for the welfare of the world unless the condition of women improves", etc.
